Computerization
In banking transactions, the use of computers has become inevitable. To provide fast and efficient banking services to members and customers, the bank has computerized both branches, making all types of banking services available through computers.
By introducing the Teller System for transactions up to ₹25,000, customers can immediately receive cash at the counter, saving their valuable time. The bank has also introduced Core Banking Services (CBS) for all account holders. Along with this, the ATM/Debit Card facility has been made available. The bank has also provided the facility of linking each customer’s Aadhaar Card to their savings account.
A Mobile Alert Service has been made available so that whenever money is deposited or withdrawn, customers immediately receive balance information on their mobile phones. Further, efforts are underway to provide Internet Banking services to all account holders.
Core Banking Facility (CBS):
All branches of the bank have received the IFSC Code from the Reserve Bank through IDBI Bank. With this facility, customers are benefiting on a large scale across all branches.
SMS Banking Facility:
Through all branches, customers receive SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers regarding every transaction made in their accounts. Apart from transaction alerts, customers are also notified about deposit maturity dates, birthday greetings, and other information via SMS.
